This is someone dying while having an MRI scan. Before you die, your brain releases tons and tons of endorphins that make you feel a range of emotions. Tragically beautiful.
The first time I held a human brain in Anatomy Lab I was completely speechless. I looked at my classmates expecting a similar reaction and they looked back at me confused like…”dude let’s start identifying the structures.” I had to take a step back and let it process…in my hands was someone’s entire life. From start to finish, every memory, every emotion, every bodily control…was right there in my hands.
I will never not reblog this
really makes you think
This is one of the most haunting photos I have ever seen. It is hundreds of wedding rings that were removed from those in Concentration Camps.
I haven’t seen a single post on my dash about it being the remembrance day of the Holocaust today so I guess it’s up to me
This is sobering.
Too important a message to not reblog.
OH MY GOSH HE ASKED FOR A HUG AND HIS BUDDY CAME RUNNING IM GONNA CRY
Elderly man wakes up in body bag in Mississippi funeral home
ABC News: An elderly Mississippi man woke up in a body bag at a funeral home after being declared dead earlier that day.
Walter Williams, 78, was pronounced dead at 9 p.m. in his home and taken to a nearby funeral home. As workers prepared to embalm him, he reportedly started kicking in the body bag.
Williams was taken to a nearby hospital where he was talking, but appeared weak. A coroner said it was possible his pacemaker shut down and then started working again.
